
Elmer Harlow II Dies
I regret to inform the membership that comrade Elmer
Harlow II has died. He was a World War II veteran
and post adjutant of our post. His survivors include
comrade Elmer Harlow III, a retired SEAL living in
California.
Meeting Notice
April 25, 2006, Tuesday – Regular meeting at 7:00pm
at the VFW Hall. Dinner begins at 6:00; Chef Stanley
Borgeson is preparing one of his famous dinners. Please
come early and give him a hand with preparations.
Agenda: Opening ceremonies, Election of Officers,
Finance Officer’s and Adjutant reports; membership
committee reports; Harmony Hall; Old Business and
Correspondence; New Business; Good of the Legion;
Closing Ceremonies; Adjournment.

Harmony Hall has not been sold despite the efforts
of the Harmony Hall Committee.
Nominations for Officers to be elected April 25
The Nominating Committee has presented the following
slate:
Commander – Stanley Borgeson;
Immediate Past Commander and Adjutant – Bob Hicks;
First Vice Commander – Lee Williams;
2nd Vice Commander – Lyle Grindle;
Finance Officer – Lew Chapman;
Sergeant at Arms – Don Tuck;
Historian – Dino Davis;
Chaplain – Paul Olson;
Judge Advocate – Bill Lovely;
Service Officer – Warren Moffett;
Executive Committee:
Mike Duffy, Joe Duffy, George Hill, Tom Kane, Al
Petty and Bob Plante.
The Executive committee has voted to recommend the
slate. Nominations can still be made from the floor.
Those elected will be installed in May
Poppy Sale
We will be selling poppies again on May 26 and 27th.
